September 6th we hosted a successful breakfast together with Stolab at Bookbinders designs store to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Carl Malmstens design classic “Lilla Åland”. To celebrate this milestone Stolab is realeasing a limited edition consisting of 2022 chairs in new color smoked oak oil. Stolab has also teamed up with color expert Sara Garanty to created five colorful and unique versions of Lilla Åland. The artistic painting is executed by artist Johan Ferner Ström and all gradient varnished chairs are one of a kind. The chairs are available for auction at Bukowskis starting September 5th and the profit will be donated to Ekfrämjandet and Erik Stenströms foundation.
